In 1913, twenty-year-old Fritz Blumer from Engi, a hamlet nestled in a small mountain valley in Switzerland, left his home and his family. He emigrated to the United States, hoping to find his fortune in the new world. Fritz disappeared in the vast american landscape, his family never hearing from him again, although they never lost faith that they would someday receive a sign of life from their missing son, brother, nephew, and later, uncle. Finally, after 70 years, Fritz's descendants appeared in Engi and revealed the mystery of his disappearance.
