The documentary follows the Swiss photographer Hans Danuser to the Gobi desert. The unending movement of the sand is the main theme in the obstinate artist's work. The connection between the search for the Great Wall of China, an open day in Moscow and research laboratories at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich is revealed.
