Eight-year-old Léa grows up with her half-sister Julie under the guidance of Eden, an uncompromising and exclusive mother. One day, Léa sees a corpse floating on a river. Convinced that it is the father she has never known, she begins to question Eden about him. Faced with maternal silence, the two sisters decide to conduct their own investigation. Léa meets Simon, a former legionnaire whom she becomes attached to in the hope of finding her father.
