At the end of her five-month Nepali experience, Laura Poretti, a primary school teacher from the Ticino, spends her last few days in Saipu, a small village in Nepal. During her stay as advisor teacher in the local school Laura is hosted by Aama, a Nepali woman who becomes more and more important to her. As the time to say goodbye comes closer, it is apparent that for the two women, things will never be the same.
