Going to the stadium is a childhood memory, some with their father, others with friends. I saw my brother at the match and it was one of our areas of common ground. My first memory was the neon green color of the lawn magnified by the neon glow of the spotlights. I loved this first match so much that in my life I have never missed a match when I was physically in Geneva, and still today. Hence this passion for football but for the garnet color in particular. My film is not about me but about those who had similar experiences there. And I chose particular personalities well known to Genevans to tell the story of this Servette football club from the 60s/70s.
Andare allo stadio è un ricordo d'infanzia, chi con il padre, chi con gli amici. Ho visto mio fratello alla partita ed era uno dei nostri punti in comune. Il mio primo ricordo è stato il colore verde neon del prato amplificato dal bagliore neon dei faretti. Ho amato così tanto questa prima partita che in vita mia non ho mai perso una partita quando ero fisicamente a Ginevra, e ancora oggi. Da qui questa passione per il calcio ma per il colore granato in particolare. Il mio film non parla di me ma di coloro che lì hanno vissuto esperienze simili. E ho scelto personaggi particolari e ben noti ai ginevrini per raccontare la storia di questo Servette degli anni '60/'70.
