The film’s theme is the war in Ukraine’s Dombass which stands exemplary for military conflicts all over the world. On the banks of the quietly flowing Dnjepr we find a man, a poet, facing the turmoil of war. He is in search of words for the horror, an artistic answer for his theater. Images for the dying and the useless loss of human life, to share hope. The film images travel between the poet’s inner torn and outer shattered world.
Il tema del film è la guerra nel Dombås/UKR, che sta per tutti i conflitti militari nel mondo. Sulle rive del pacifico Dnjepr, troviamo un uomo, un poeta, che affronta il tumulto della guerra. Alla ricerca di parole per l'orrore, di una risposta artistica per il suo teatro e di immagini per l'inutile perdita di vite umane: Per condividere la speranza. Le immagini del film viaggiano tra il mondo interiore lacerato del poeta e l'esterno distrutto.
