A slice of European history lies waiting in western Ukraine, ready to be rediscovered. Alone, for many years survivors of the holocaust in the Soviet Union have kept its memory alive. Now they want to share their experiences with the whole world. The last witnesses of today are made to communicate with those of the past, establishing a dialogue between the living and the dead who are still present in works of literature.
