In the North of the Negev desert, in Israel, some 45 unrecognized Bedouin villages are spread out around the outskirts of Beersheva. One of them, the Tarabin village borders a wealthy Jewish village: Omer. To facilitate the expansion of this Jewish town – obstructed by the presence of the Bedouins – the Israeli authorities have negotiated with the tribe the displacement of their village to a site 20 kilometers away. In an examination of the history of this Bedouin tribe and of its displacement, this documentary bears witness to the fate of third-class citizens within the State of Israel: the Bedouins of the Negev.
