In a village created for children in the heart of the Swiss mountains, WWII orphans from all over Europe have found a home. The names "father" and "mother" are used in each house to designate their fellow countrymen and women educators. Each of them would like, in a small way, to achieve harmony and peace between all nations. In spite of the sad shadows of the past, in spite of the misfortunes of the world, in spite of everything that threatens their village, they confidently await the day, the glorious hour when the children of all the countries of the earth will unite in the same friendship.
