In 1988 the filmmaker lives in NYC, takes photographs, records sounds. The world is in upheaval. One year later, the Berlin Wall falls. The USA becomes the world police. In 2001, the WTC towers and the Pentagon are attacked. George Bush sends the army to Afghanistan. The slides and sounds from 1988 are charged with world history and images that we have all seen, not only on 9/11, and that we cannot forget. Voices and sounds determine the flow of time, the time travel, the slide trip.
