Stan, a young video-store employee bullied by his boss, takes refuge in B-movie and action films in the evenings. After witnessing the attack on Roxane, a regular customer, Stan begins to lose himself between reality and fiction, imagining himself the hero of one of his favourite films.
Stan, un giovane impiegato di videoteca vittima di bullismo da parte del suo capo, la sera si rifugia nei film di azione e di serie B. Dopo aver assistito all'aggressione di Roxane, una cliente abituale, Stan inizia a perdersi tra realtà e finzione, immaginandosi eroe di uno dei suoi film preferiti.
