Swiss short films at French festivals (Angers and Annonay)

The festival "Premiers Plans" in Angers (January 21 - 28, 2007) will present seven Swiss films, among four in the festival competition. At the Annonay International Film Festival for first time films (February 2 - 12, 2007), two animated films will be shown.

In Angers, the short films "Amancay" by Milagros Mumenthaler will be part of the competition for European short films, while "Après le chat/After The Cat" by Marina Rosset and "Pool Side" by Michael Koch will be screened in the "Film School" competition. The French-Swiss co-production "Ménagerie intérieure" by Nadège de Benoit-Luthy will participate in the "Premiers courts métrages français" competition. In addition, the animated films "Banquise" (Claude Barras and Cédric Louis) and "Birdy" (Dennis Furrer) will screen in the "Plans animés" section, as well as "Rachel" (Frédéric Mermoud) in the "Les plans suivants" program.

In Annonay, the two short animated films "Le génie de la boîte de raviolis/The genie in a ravioli tin" (Claude Barras) and "Circuit marine" (Isabelle Favez) will be part of the festival program.
