Adrian Illien
Screenwriter, Creator
Born 1982 in Switzerland. He graduated in International Affairs from the University of St. Gallen. 2008-11 Worked as a junior producer for teamWorx Television & Film GmbH (UFA Fiction) in Munich. He then joined Bavaria Fiction as a staff writer for of a daily series. In 2013 he returned to Switzerland. As a network producer for the Swiss public broadcaster SRF he was responsible for TV films, including TATORT and series. He headed the writer’s room of the crime series THE UNDERTAKER, that also aired on Netflix. For the last season he was the head writer. The TV film TORN, which he conceived, was awarded "Best Teleplay" at the Baden-Baden TV Film Festival 2017. In early 2019 he has left the network in order to work as independent writer and producer.
