Born in 1995 in Montreux (Switzerland), Amin Saad is a writer-director and co-founder of the collective “Les Films Du Labo” based in Renens. In 2017 he obtained a federal certificate in cinematography at the Geneva Cinema School then enrolled in 2018 at the SAE Institute Geneva in Cinema. In 2020, he co-founded the collective “Les Films du Labo” with director Maxime Perrin. He subsequently obtained a Bachelor of Arts in 2021 following work on the staging of music in Cinema. His collective was born from a desire to have a more ethical approach during the process of creating a film. In parallel with its films, its collective has created a program of emerging Swiss films in collaboration with the Cinélux in Geneva and the new Cinématographe in Lausanne.
