Born in 1985 in Aarau, Switzerland. 2010 Bachelor in Film from the ZHdK (Zurich University of the Arts). He studied cinematography at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. His feature début as a cinematographer DARK BLUE GIRL (2017) by Mascha Schilinski, celebrated its world premiere in the Perspektive Deutsches Kino section at the Berlinale. In 2018 he won the Deutscher Kamerapreis for the short film BLUE SUMMER SYMPHONY by Sinje Köhler. His recent work includes SOUND OF FALLING (2025) by Mascha Schilinski, which premiered in the International Competition at Cannes and for which he received a nomination for the 2026 European Cinematography Award.
