Gaël Kamilindi
Actor, Director, Screenwriter
Born in 1986 in the Democratic Republic of Congo and grows up in Switzerland. In 2011 he graduated from the Conservatoire National d'Art Dramatique in Paris. He has worked with directors including Bob Wilson, Jean-Pierre Vincent, Krzysztof Warlikowski, Mélanie Laurent and Denis Podalydès. He joined La Comédie-Française in 2017. He also lends his voice to various projects with Gallimard, Radio France, the Philharmonie and various documentaries. For the small and big screens, he has worked with Mona Achache, Philippe Garrel, Pierre Aknine and Catherine Corsini. In collaboration with François-Xavier Destors, he directed his debut feature-length documentary DIDY (2024).
