Jacqueline Zünd

Born in 1971 in Zurich, Switzerland. She studied at LIFS (London International Film School). Her documentary GOODNIGHT NOBODY (2010) won numerous awards including the prize for Best Newcomer film at Visions du Réel Nyon and a special mention at DOK Leipzig. ALMOST THERE (2016) premiered at IDFA and was awarded for Best Editing at the Swiss Film Award 2018. WHERE WE BELONG (2019) premiered in the Generation section of the Berlinale.
Her feature film debut DON'T LET THE SUN (2025) celebrated its world premiere in Locarno in the Cineasti del presente competition, where it was awarded a Pardo for best performance. The film has been shown at numerous festivals, including Busan.
She is a member of the Swiss and European Film Academies and works as a lecturer at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK).
