Born in 1974, lives and works in Berne, Switzerland. After an apprenticeship as a structural engineer he went on to study music, which brought him to found and manage a music school for eight years. He then became an advertiser and illustrator. Since 2003 he owns an advertising company. He taught himself the stop motion technique.
