Rosida Koyuncu is a queer refugee filmmaker and artist based in Geneva.
Having graduated in 2022 from HEAD (Geneva University of Art and Design), she develops film projects exploring issues of migration, discrimination and LGBTIQ+ identities. Rosida collaborates with the University of Fribourg as part of the InMIND research project. Her work explores narratives of exile, LGBTIQ+ identities and forms of resistance in the face of structural violence; her work lies at the intersection of film, art and research, addressing intersectional discrimination, experiences of exile and LGBTIQ+ identities. Through an approach combining film, performance and research, Rosida creates spaces of memory and visibility for marginalised voices.
