Saleh Kashefi (1999 Tehran, Iran) known professionally as Filmsaaz is an audiovisual artist, working mainly as a filmmaker and musician based in between Geneva and Paris. They have participated at festivals such as Cannes, Berlinale, Venice, Locarno, Visions du Réel, IDFA and FID. A recipient of Prince Claus Seed Award, l’Abri associated artist, Master ECAL/HEAD alumni and currently enrolling in Le Fresnoy. They have made dozens of short films which screened in over two hundred film festivals around the world and have won forty awards. Filmsaaz’s debut LP titled “harmony/disharmony” was released in April 2025 and their debut feature film, the audiovisual opera WOLFGANG (2026) is having its world premiere soon in Rotterdam's Bright Future section.
