Petra Volpe
Screenwriter, Director, Creator
Née en 1970 à Suhr (Suisse). Double nationalité suisse et italienne. 1992-94 Étudiante en art à Zurich. 1994-95 Vit à New York. 1995-97 Monteuse AVID à Zurich. 1997-2001 Étudie le théâtre et l'écriture de scénarios à la Filmuniversität Babelsberg Konrad Wolf à Potsdam. Depuis 2001, travaille comme scénariste et réalisatrice indépendante. 2017 Swiss Film Award «Meilleur scénario» pour son film L'ORDRE DIVIN. Elle a adapté le scénario du film à succès HEIDI (2015) d'Alain Gsponer et écrit le scénario de la série à succès LABYRINTH OF PEACE (2020) de la SRF. Outre ses projets suisses, elle travaille comme scénariste et réalisatrice aux États-Unis pour Fox Searchlight et Disney, entre autres. Elle travaille actuellement sur son premier film en anglais, le drame carcéral américain FRANK & LOUIS. Elle vit et travaille à Berlin et à New York.
