Born in Switzerland. 2008-2013 MFA studies in directing and screenwriting at Columbia University, New York. 2012 Worked as teaching assistant for Richard Peña and Andrew Sarris. Lives between the US, Mexico and Switzerland. 2013 Winner of the Student Academy Award for UN MUNDO PARA RAÚL. 2nd Unit director on the Netflix original AWAKE and co-director of the fourth season of WILDER. Producer of various features, among them COPENHAGEN, the French-Mexican co-production THE INVENTED BIOGRAPHY, IN TIMES OF RAIN in Mexico, the Colombian LA NOCHE DE LA BESTIA and Canadian sci-fi COSMIC DAWN. He is co-founder of Fidelio Films, with which he co-produced CANDELARIA, winning the Giornate degli Autori top prize at Venice in 2017.
