Kurt is an itinerant and gambling addict on a one-way-street to disaster. The weak foundations of his existence are crumbling beneath him, when he suddenly has a once-in-a-lifetime encounter. Forced to dice with death, he gets addicted to living his life according to how the dice rolls. To cap it all, his purported sheet anchor turns out to be a despot who pushes Kurt to the very edge.
