1977. Sixteen-year-old Mario lives in a small village in Ticino, Italian-speaking Switzerland. While society around him is shifting in many ways, he experiences his first awkward sentimental approaches, has trouble in school, and constantly clashes with a father who doesn’t seem to get him. When he is sent off to the mountains to work as a farmer for the summer, some unexpected encounters will teach him a lot about life, love, and most importantly about himself.
1977. Mario (16 anni) vive in un piccolo villaggio del Ticino, nel sud della Svizzera. Mentre la società attorno a lui attraversa profondi cambiamenti, Mario affronta con goffaggine i primi turbamenti sentimentali, ha problemi a scuola e continui scontri con il padre che non sembra capirlo. Spedito da quest’ultimo a lavorare come contadino in montagna per l’estate, vivrà incontri inaspettati che gli insegneranno molto sulla vita, sull’amore e, soprattutto, su sé stesso.
