Every day, farms disappear due to a lack of successors. Leonard, the son of doctors and a university graduate, makes the unexpected choice to become a farmer. During his agricultural training, he discovers a world very different from his own. Between the difficulties of accessing land and the confrontation of his urban ideals, his dream quickly collides with reality. The film bears witness to the encounter between these two different worlds.
Ogni giorno, alcune fattorie scompaiono per mancanza di ricambio generazionale. Léonard, figlio di medici e laureato, fa la scelta inaspettata di diventare contadino. Durante la sua formazione agricola, scopre un mondo molto diverso dal suo. Tra le difficoltà di accesso alla terra e il confronto con i suoi ideali urbani, il suo sogno si scontra rapidamente con la realtà. Devenir paysan testimonia così l'incontro tra mondi apparentemente lontani.
