In the 70's Heinz Lüdi a childhood friend was teaching in the mountain village of Furna (Prättigau). It is thanks to him that I was able to make my first film – a portrait of the village showing the day-to-day life of its children, with their hopes and dreams. Twenty two years after its first showing, I would now like to present a completely restored, slightly shortened version of “Die Kinder von Furna”, with a new sound track. (Christian Schocher)
