Naples: A teenage girl and boy are confined in a huge, abandoned building. She, Veronica, has insulted the local Camorra Boss and is now locked up in this eerie place. He, Salvatore, has nothing to do with the Camorra. Nevertheless, he has been forced to stand watch over her. She is sixteen years old, beautiful, self-confident, even a bit defiant; a girl well liked by most everyone she meets. He is shy, burly and clumsy. Because he was unable to reject the henchmen of the Camorra Boss, he now has to play the humiliating role of the guard.

Napoli, in un enorme edificio abbandonato, una ragazza e un ragazzo. I due sono stati rinchiusi in quel luogo. Lei, Veronica, ha fatto uno sgarbo al capocamorra del suo quartiere. L'hanno presa e rinchiusa in questo luogo spaventoso. Lui Salvatore non c’entra niente con la camorra, ma l’hanno costretto a forza a fare da carceriere. Lei è bella, sedici anni, sicura di sé, quasi sfacciata, la ragazza che piace a tutti nel quartiere. Lui è timido, alto e pesante. Non ha saputo dire di no agli sgherri del capocamorra. Fare il secondino è un'umiliazione per lui.
