During a business trip to Geneva, Lina, a thirty-four-year-old fashion designer from Argentina, jumps off a bridge into the freezing river water in a natural, mechanical gesture. Back in Buenos Aires, she decides not to tell anyone, but develops a physical fear of water that prevents her from carrying out everyday activities. Since the incident, her view of the life choices she has made has become distant and critical. She revisits a painful past, coming from a working-class background that she has disowned for years, hoping to find answers to her deep malaise and her growing phobia, but her growing state of anxiety pushes her into a situation that has become intolerable.
