An orgasmic old age! Such might be the subtitle of this joyfully iconoclastic film. The interviews of men and women aged upwards of 65 gathered by Eva Ceccaroli reveal unexpectedly joyful horizons. They put paid to the erroneous idea that lovemaking is the exclusive province of the young and vigorous, that beyond a certain age the human animal becomes an asexual creature with no libido. Far from it! According to psychiatrist Italo Simeone the fact that an old person's body does not have the same physiological rhythms can be a good thing as it frees the individual from all sense of urgency and having to perform, a source of so much trouble with younger couples.
