Mexican mariachi Arturo performs with his children and grandchildren in the Ensemble Huayapan. Each member found a personal path toward music. Through drawings, recordings, music, and sounds, the film explores how knowledge and tradition are passed from generation to generation, and how imitation and reinterpretation of the past can sometimes intertwine.
Il mariachi messicano Arturo suona con i suoi figli e nipoti nell’ Ensemble Huayapan. Ogni membro ha trovato un proprio percorso verso la musica. Attraverso disegni, registrazioni, musica e suoni, il film mostra come conoscenza e tradizione si trasmettano di generazione in generazione e come l’imitazione e la reinterpretazione del passato possano avvicinarsi.
