Public award for “Aschenbrüder” in Landshut (Bavaria)

"Aschenbrüder" ("Ashbrothers") won the publics award at the 8th Landshut Short Film Festival (22. - 25.3.2007). Five short films from Switzerland were invited to participate. The festival was held in the Lower Bavarian town of Landshut and presented a total of 150 short films. In the competition section, three works produced at the School of Art and Design Zurich (HGKZ) were shown, including "Schnäbi (Willy)" (Luzius Wespe), "Ashbrothers" (Steve Walker, Markus Heiniger), and "Nightfluttering" (Carmen Stadler). In the children’s program, the two latest animated films by Ted Sieger were screened: "Die kleine Monsterin (The little monster)", and "Der vierte König (The fourth king)".

At the event last year, the film "Herr Goldstein" won the first jury prize.
