Swiss presence at Zurich Film Festival
Four world premieres and four further Swiss film productions which have already been screened internationally are on the programme of the 7th Zurich Film Festival (September 22 - October 2, 2011).

The feature film "Corpo celeste" by Italian director Alice Rohrwacher (coproduction: Amka Films, Ticino) will be screened as the Swiss entry in the festival's International Competition. And two recent Swiss documentary film productions will be screened at gala premieres: Thomas Imbach's essay film "Day Is Done," which celebrated its premiere at the Berlinale; and the film "Ursula - Leben in Anderswo," in which film director Rolf Lyssy portrays 50-year-old Ursula Bodmer. Her handicap created a great sensation as the theme of the film "Ursula oder das unwerte Leben" by Reni Merten and Walter Marti in 1966. Ulrich Grossenbacher's film "Messies, ein schönes Chaos" von, which was honoured with the Critic's Week Award in Locarno, will be presented as a Special Screening at the Zurich Film Festival.
Swiss filmmaking and its future are the topic of several special festival events. With support from the promotion agency SWISS FILMS, eight young Swiss actors will be presented to a professional audience in conjunction with the launching of the "Young Talent 2011" DVD on September 23.
