Alicia Mendy
Composer, Director, Screenwriter
Born in 2000 in Lausanne, Switzerland, with a Senegalese father and Italian mother. She graduated with a Bachelor in cinema from HEAD-Genève (Haute École d'Art et de Design) in 2023. She is interested in cinema that represents and values African and Afro-descendant peoples through the fantasy and science fiction genres. Spirituality is central to her work, which explores utopias and dystopias. She also composes film music.
