She studied acting at the University of Film and Television Konrad Wolf in Potsdam-Babelsberg from 2003-07 and has since worked extensively in film, television, and theatre. In 2012 she began studying film directing at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (DFFB), where she directed the short films ARIANA FOREVER! (2015) and DAY X (2019) - which earned a nomination for the Student Academy Awards in 2021. Her short film RONDO (2022) premiered at the Berlinale. I’LL BE GONE IN JUNE (2026) is her feature fiction debut and premieres in Cannes' Official Selection, Un Certain Regard.
