Mariama Djité
Actor, Screenwriter
Born in Zurich in 1988 as the daughter of a Senegalese artist and a Swiss architect. In 2008/09 she studied acting at the NYFA. After completing her Master's degree in Film Studies and German Studies at the University of Zurich (2016), she worked as an in-house writer/conceptualiser for a film production company. Today she is a freelance screenwriter and member of the ARF/FDS. In 2025 she was selected for the Cannes Series Writers' Club.
