Pauline Julier

Born in 1981 in Geneva, Switzerland. A visual artist and filmmaker, her films have been shown in numerous festivals, institutions and art centres around the world. She received the Swiss Federal Art Prize at Art Basel in 2010 and 2021, and was awarded the Aide à la création grant in 2013 and the Berthoud grant in 2014. She was selected by the Swiss Institute in Rome for the 2019–2020 residency and appointed Associate Artist of the Grand Théâtre de Genève in 2021. Her debut feature-length fiction film THE INDIES is currently in production.
