Sebastian Klinger is an award-winning Swiss cinematographer and producer. Born in 1993 in Zurich, he shot numerous projects for Student Academy Award winner Freddy Macdonald, among which SEW TORN, a short film executive produced by Peter Spears (NOMADLAND) that was acquired by Searchlight Pictures and qualified for the 2020 Academy Awards. He shot three music videos for 3x Grammy winner Fantastic Negrito and lately was awarded the White Dolphin in Cannes for a commercial he shot. As Lead VFX Unit Switzerland he contributed to Peruvian Netflix series CONTIGO CAPITÁN and German feature PARADIES. Recently, he shot and produced Freddy Macdonald’s first feature – a continuation of the SEW TORN narrative starring Eve Connolly (VIKINGS) – which premiered at SXSW 2024.
