Seit ihr Mann gestorben ist, geht Martha nicht mehr zum Sonntagsjass. Im Emmentaler Dorf Trub macht man sich Sorgen. Ihre Freundinnen Lisi, Hanni und Frieda wollen Martha aufmuntern und schlagen ihr vor, sich einen alten Traum zu erfüllen. Dass die Idee bei Martha solchen Anklang findet, hätten sie nie gedacht. Die 80-jährige Schneiderin eröffnet kurzerhand eine eigene Lingerieboutique. Als das Dorf davon erfährt, ist es vorbei mit der Ordnung.
