What do Ghana, Senegal, Rwanda, Mozambique, Kenya, Ivory Coast and Burundi have in common? They are the birthplaces of as many women, who in Mohammed Soudani's filmic work represent the symbol of the rebirth of a continent ripped apart by genocide, hunger and war. Society's revenge is not a story of men, but of avant-garde women who, despite pressures, obstacles and increasingly difficult challenges, recount their success in the failed history of the last 70 years. A reality that is crudely told directly by the protagonists that becomes the megaphone of feminist victory in macroeconomics, entrepreneurship, public health protection, but also in the preservation of biodiversity.

Danno i natali ad altrettante donne, che nel lavoro cinematografico di Mohammed Soudani rappresentano il simbolo della rinascita di un continente straziato da genocidi, fame e guerre. La rivincita della società non sono storie di uomini, ma di avanguardiste che nonostante pressioni, ostacoli e sfide sempre più difficili, raccontano il loro successo nella fallimentare storia degli ultimi 70 anni. Una realtà che viene crudamente raccontata direttamente dalle protagoniste in questo documentario che diventa il megafono della vittoria femminista nella macroeconomia, nell’imprenditorialità, nella pretezione della salute pubblica, ma anche nella salvaguardia della biodiversità.
