The daughter of a painter born in Paris in 1979, Alexandra Karamisaris is an actress, screenwriter, director and production manager.
A 2006 graduate of Les Teintureries de Lausanne, she has acted in several Swiss films, including Coeur Animal by Séverine Cornamusaz.
Graduating in 2008 with a certificate in dramaturgy and text performance from the University of Lausanne, she joined the University of Paris 1 - Panthéon-Sorbonne for a Master's degree in cinema & audiovisual, where she directed stop-motion films such as Le Tourbillon de la vie, selected in several animated film festivals.
In 2016, at the end of her Master's degree, she wrote, directed and produced her first professional short film, Colette et la salle B-12, selected in numerous European and international festivals.
Since 2020, she has been working for the film production company Dreampixies.
