Denise Fernandes

Born in 1990 in Lisbon, Portugal. Swiss citizenship. 2008-11 Attends CISA (Conservatorio Internazionale di Scienze Audiovisive), Lugano. 2011-13 Attends Escuela Internacional de Cine y TV, Cuba. Her short films BREAD WITHOUT JAM (2012) selected for Upcoming Talent at the Solothurn Festival and IDYLLIUM (2013), awarded at the Winterthur International Festival. Her first feature film HANAMI was selected from seventy projects for the Solothurn Talent Lab 2016 and awarded the Best First Project by the Swiss Society of Authors (SSA). HANAMI is currently in production.
