Pour la première fois depuis des années, Luis (18 ans) rend visite à son père dans une maison de vacances isolée en montagne. S’efforçant de se présenter avec assurance et apparemment persuadé qu’il ne désire rien d’autre de son père que de l’argent pour ses études, Luis tombe à l’improviste sur la nouvelle famille de son père, dont il ignorait absolument l’existence. Tiraillé entre sa colère, son incompréhension et son désir d’affection, Luis tente de faire sortir son père de sa réserve et provoque le conflit.
