Elie Grappe

Director, Screenwriter, Editor, Cinematographer

Born 1994 in Lyon, France. He completed musical training at the National Conservatory in Lyon. He graduated with a Bachelor in Film from ECAL (École Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne) in 2015. OLGA (2021), his debut feature-length fiction film, was selected for the Semaine de la Critique in Cannes, where it won the Prix SACD for Best Screenplay. OLGA was Switzerland’s official submission for International Feature Film competition. OLGA won three Quartz awards at the Swiss Film Awards, has been distributed in thirty-eight countries, and has received around twenty awards. He was awarded the Prix Culturel Vaudois and is currently in development for a second feature film CHAVIRER adapted from the novel by Lola Lafon.
