Marina Aebi, born in 1981 and based in Zurich, is a Swiss Hair & Make-up artist and SFX Make-Up artist.
She first trained as hairdresser in Biel then joined the Delamar Academy in London where she obtained a diploma in Make-Up and SFX Make-Up in 2002. She also trained in Wig & Facial Hair in Zürich.
Active since 2004, she has worked on more than thirty Swiss cinema films mainly with international co-production (Germany, France, Argentina, India, Turkey, Indonesia). She has notably collaborated with the directors Michael Koch (POLAR, Berlinale 2009), Andrea Štaka (CURE, Locarno Film Festival 2014), Michael Steiner, Esen Isik, Oliver Rihs, Delphine Lehericey (BEYOND THE HORIZON, Swiss Film Award - Best Fiction 2020), Jan Gassmann (99 MOONS, at ACID Cannes 2022), Lionel Baier, Simon Jaquemet, Lisa Brühlmann and Milagros Mumenthaler.

Marina Aebi, geboren 1981, lebt in Zürich. Sie ist eine Schweizer Hair & Make-up- und SFX Make-up Artistin.
Sie absolvierte zunächst eine Ausbildung zur Coiffeuse in Biel und besuchte dann die Delamar Academy in London, wo sie 2002 ein Diplom in Make-up und SFX Make-up erwarb. Sie bildete sich auch in Perücken- und Gesichtsbehaarung in Zürich aus.
Seit 2004 hat sie an mehr als dreissig Schweizer Kinofilmen mitgewirkt, hauptsächlich in internationalen Koproduktionen (Deutschland, Frankreich, Argentinien, Indien, Türkei, Indonesien). Sie hat insbesondere mit den Regisseuren Michael Koch (POLAR, Berlinale 2009), Andrea Štaka (CURE, Locarno Film Festival 2014), Michael Steiner, Esen Isik, Oliver Rihs, Delphine Lehericey (BEYOND THE HORIZON, Schweizer Filmpreis - Bester Spielfilm 2020), Jan Gassmann (99 MOONS, ACID Cannes 2022), Lionel Baier, Simon Jaquemet, Lisa Brühlmann und Milagros Mumenthaler zusammengearbeitet.
