As a production designer and art director she has worked on numerous Swiss films. After studying cinema and economics at the University of Zurich, she took up studies at the ETH Zurich and the UDK Berlin, qualifying as an architect (MSc ETH Arch). Whilst studying, she also started working in film, making a short movie, and gaining experience as an architect with Meili Peter Architects, Zurich. Besides her work in the film industry, she has also been a lecturer at the F+F School for Art & Design, the ETH Zurich, the Academy of Architecture at the Università della Svizzera italiana and at FOCAL.
